Blue Water Controversy

The Blue Water veterans have had their fair share of hardships with relation to Agent Orange. There has been a great deal of energy invested in legislation to restore our Blue Water veteran's access to benefits as a result of exposure to Agent Orange. A recent study by NIH was inconclusive many felt as though the 'benefit of doubt' should be given to our Blue Water Navy veterans since NIH/VA have been unable to show they weren't exposed to Agent Orange, for a number of reasons but, in particular, the method used to distill the ship's drinking water being the more likely method of exposure.

Australian Blue Water Navy veterans have been granted Agent Orange medical care and benefits as a result of a study they did proving that exposure to Agent Orange occurred as a result of the ships method of distilling it's drinking water.
